As the PR intern for Communication across the Curriculum (CxC) on LSU's campus, I assisted with the PR needs of both CxC and the Distinguished Communicator program. Because CxC is the host of TEDxLSU, I was also heavily involved with the event as the social media manager.

Social Media
As PR intern for CxC, I managed both the CxC and TEDxLSU social channels. This involved creating content and campaigns, managing conversations and trends, reviewing analytics and more.
TEDxLSU Graphics
In addition to being the social media manager for TEDxLSU, I also designed all promotional graphics for the event. I created the graphics using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
TEDxLSU Distinguished Communicator Workshop
In the fall of 2013, I was able to host a workshop for the CxC Distinguished Communicator candidates. This workshop was related to TEDxLSU and how students can improve their presentations by modeling them after TED Talks. I developed the outline and talking points for the workshop, hosted it and facilitated discussion.
CxC Blog
As one of CxC's interns, I crafted blog posts on workshops or events we had and shared them through our website's blog and social channels.
CxC Graphics
In addition to creating the graphics for TEDxLSU, I also created graphics for CxC for workshops, events and more. The graphics were created using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
CxC Website
I helped manage and update the CxC website.
CxC Business Studio Marketing Research
Because CxC has studios across campus to help students perfect their communication skills, I was occasionally asked to do research to see where a new studio could be placed and how beneficial it would be.
