I was born and raised in Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana. After graduating from Parkway High School in 2010, I was nervous to move to Baton Rouge, Louisiana - a brand new city where I knew no one. Thankfully, the Baton Rouge and LSU community welcomed me with open arms. Throughout my undergraduate career, I loved purple and lived gold, deeply. My four years at LSU shaped and molded me into the person, and professional, I am today. With a hint of reluctance, I graduated from LSU's Manship School of Mass Communication in May of 2014 with a bachelor's degree in mass communication, concentrating in public relations, and minors in both leadership development and business administration. A month after earning my degree, I uprooted once more to Houston, Texas, to pursue my career in public relations.
On a personal note, I married my longtime sweetheart in April of 2014, a month before I graduated from LSU. When I am not working, I love traveling, trying new restaurants, watching great TV and movies, cheering on my favorite sports teams and loving on my furry babies. |
